Sorry all,
Wish I could have made it. Family obligations conflicted with the time so I had to take care of those. I hope all who made it have a lot of fun.
I really wanted to make the swap meet as well. I have some items that I would like to sell for a fair price as I need to raise capital for other items. In case anyone is interested.
1.) TYT MD-380 (Like new condition - bought 2 of them since I used one for experimental mods however now that I have a MD-2017 I no longer need the second 380 which I kept for stock use. This one I am selling has very little use and never had any firmware changes (I could provide a mod firmware and instructions on how to flash MD 380 Tools on it however the purchaser would assume any liability for the results). I have it loaded with the most current codeplug from WA2HQL as well. I have the manual, charger, programming cable, software and both long and short antennas in addition to the original box.). I purchased it for $119.99 from BuyTwoWayRadios however since the price has dropped to $99.99 I would be willing to sell for $80.
2.) BTech 5X3 Tri-Band HT 2M/1.25M/70cm (Brand new condition, only taken out of the box to test prior to Amazon return period. I programmed in 145.230 and 146.940 to make a couple test calls to ensure TX/RX working as expected. Comes with manual, charger, lanyard, the useless included speaker mic, both antennas (2M/70cm dual band and 1.25M single band) and box.). This currently sells for about $60 which is what I paid for it (I think it's actually $59.89 but close enough hi hi.) but I would take $50 for it. I have a new Nagoya Tri-Band antenna made for this model which sells for $17.99 however I would be willing to sell that with the rig for $60 as a discount to fellow club members and friends. It's not quite a Yaesu VX-6R or Kenwood TH-F6A (both which I also own) however it's a solid performer, liked by many and it's less than a third to a quarter of the price of those models.
I also have an Icom ID-51A 50th Anniversary Edition in red that I would be willing to sell for a fair price if anyone is interested. I have both a black and a red one and really only need one. I am offering the red one for sale since the black one has a minor display lighting anomaly and I don't want to sell something which I know has any potential or existing problems (unless I was selling something listed as parts only or as-is with known issues specified). I have the desk rapid charger, remote control Icom speaker mic and extended battery as well and would be open to a package deal. Since acquiring a Yaesu FT-1XD Fusion HT and the TYT MD-2017 I think it's time to downscale a bit in addition to needing funds to acquire other needed gear so that's my motivation for making these available for sale. I also would be willing to sell my Yaesu VX-6R for which I also have the waterproof screw-in speaker mic, both of which are in used but very good condition. I would need to sell that as a package deal however.
If anyone is interested in purchasing the listed items or may be interested in working out a deal on the additional items I mentioned, please email me at KA4WXS at gmail.com.
Thanks and 73,
Rick Matteson - KA4WXS
