Michelle and I met Richard at the hospital in June and became friends for
the few short months before he went home to be with the Lord in August.

Richard was a JAARS volunteer for a number of years until he became ill a
few years ago. Although Michelle and I only had a few visits and phone
conversations with him, it was a joy to have known Richard. He was a Godly
man with a kind and gentle spirit.

He was in a lot of pain in the end and was ready to go home by God's grace
through his faith and personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.

Richard was not active in ham radio for a number of years, but thought some
in the club may have known him through JAARS.
