Can you believe he has been licensed for 67 years, or maybe it's 68 now? Not only that but after moving to an assisted living facility he continues to be active daily, often heard on the 444.450 repeater during the afternoon which is an absolutely incredible accomplishment. To top that at 99 years old he has recently joined the DMR crowd. (Listen in on Crowders PRN for him.) I have had the privilege to chat with Oscar on a couple occasions for a short QSO and his passion for radio after so many years is truly amazing. If only we all could be as lucky and blessed as Oscar.

Kudos to all who put together this special party and commemorating his accomplishment. Please pass along my birthday wishes as unfortunately I will likely not be able to personally attend. Hopefully in another decade I can be there for his 110th party.
