Making such an adapter [as I did for my Kenwood] is challenging to say the least [getting the eight leads to go into the respective RJ-45 slots].  -PATIENCE, BROTHER-  I found the pin-out on the web if someone is up to the challenge.

a RJ-45 plug.  I tried once to adapt a MFJ headset to a Yaesu 991 using a
cat-5 jumper, but didn’t get the Yaesu pins right on the first go. Does anyone have the pin-out for a YaesuRJ-45 (or a mic) for Tim?
